Our court of Arms
The emblems are made up of the following.
Black England Saltire and Silver Buckle
Set in yellow and white which is part of the insignia of the Colquhouns of Killermont on whose estate the club is situated.
Bear's Head
Set in red which forms the bottom right is granted from Burgh of Bearsden Coat of Arms. This means Dexter, or right hand side and gives a true geographical location of the club.
Eight Gold Buckles
Set in black and green with a silver fish in the middle and an amulet in its mouth. The fish is the famous fish which never swam and represents the affiliation of the club to the Glasgow Bowling Association.
The club are members of the Scottish Bowling Association(Bowls Scotland). The gold buckles represent the Campbells who at one time owned the estates at Possil, Jordanhill and Garscube. The arms are completed by the Red, White and Blue Rampant Lion of Scottish Bowling Association.
